Roger van Damme
Roger van Damme's love of patisserie and sense of perfectionism are an ideal match, which find their expression in the beautiful works of art he creates on a plate. In 1994, he opened his lunch-lounge restaurant 'Het Gebaar'. Nine years later, he moved 'Het Gebaar' to the Botanical Gardens in Antwerp. 2010 was a year never to forget: Roger was awarded his Michelin star and a score of 18/20 by Gault Millau, as well as becoming Chef of the Year! In October 2017 Roger van Damme was chosen as 'Best Pastry Chef in the World' at the Best Chef Awards in Warsaw.
