Kookeet is the culinary 'place to be' for gourmets, bon vivants and gastronomes. During this annual feast for the taste buds, more than 100,000 visitors will put together their own menus by choosing from a wide range of delicious dishes. This is Kookeet’s ninth and final edition. We intend to end on a high note and look forward to a new culinary story that will be rolled out in 2020. We are expecting you!!

 Jannis Brevet earned his spurs in highly reputed restaurants at home and abroad. In 2001, he and his wife Claudia took over Inter Scaldes***, which at the time was a two-star restaurant. It was awarded its third star in 2018. The menu is strongly influenced by the nearness of the sea, which is never far away in Zealand. The synthesis between cooking and art is also central: the beauty of art is translated into the dishes served on your plate.  Jannis Brevet now follows in the footsteps of other leading culinary names who have been guest chef at Kookeet: Jonnie Boer, Wout Bru, Wim Lybaert, Peter Goossens, Jeroen Meus, Piet Huysentruyt and Roger van Damme.
